Roskomnadzor has blocked access to the 24.kg newswire because of digests about the war in Ukraine. Readers informed the editorial office that they could not open the website from the territory of the Russian Federation. Last year, Roskomnadzor sent several letters to the editorial office demanding that it remove publications related to the events in Ukraine. The news agency 24.kg refused to remove the texts because they did not violate the national law in force in Kyrgyzstan in any way. The website of Roskomnadzor itself says that access to the 24.kg website page is restricted. However, readers report that it is not individual pages of the resource that are blocked, but the website in its entirety.
