In Kharkiv, on the night of May 1, the journalist and cybersecurity specialist Nikita Knysh was attacked. According to Knysh, he decided to film the violation of quarantine conditions – busy nightlife in the parking lot near the “Nauchnaya” metro station, where wealthy young people like to gather. The journalist called the police to the offending area, but the arriving force did not act. Knysh said that in a matter of seconds after the police left, he was attacked and severely beaten. The attackers took his phone and backpack, which contained a laptop and personal belongings.
