In a WhatsApp chat hosted by the Kostanay Region Health Directorate, journalists asked about special equipment and COVID-19 tests in the region’s hospitals. "There are quite a lot of questions that need clarification from competent individuals. I'm sorry to repeat myself, but the lack of first-hand information leads to the information appearing from other sources," wrote the editor-in-chief of one of Kostanay’s newspapers. Journalists could not receive answers for over a week.
