On 30 September, the Civil Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court of first instance in the case brought by the founder of the Photolur news agency against the founder of the news website 1in.am, Skizb Media Kentron LLC. According to the court ruling, the defendant is required to cease the unlawful use of Photolur’s photographs, to pay 2.4 million drams (more than $6,000) in compensation for the photographs already published, and to reimburse court costs, including 200,000 drams (more than $500) for the claimant’s legal fees. The lawsuit was filed on 20 October 2023.
