Ara Harutyunyan, a former employee of the National Security Service, has filed a lawsuit against the founder of the 1in.am news website, Skizb Media Kentron LLC, demanding a public refutation of the information considered libellous and compensation for damage caused to honour and dignity. The reason for the lawsuit was an article published on 31 July on the 1in.am website, which says that Harutyunyan had been receiving rewards in envelopes for years in exchange for ignoring the robbery on the railways, organizing the smuggling of goods and being involved in protection.
