Human rights activist Aigul Shakibaeva has been called to the city police department for a talk. The reason was her Facebook post dated April 8, in which she asked for clarification of the reasons for the detention of a car diver. On April 8, after the publication of the post, the head of the press service of the Almaty Police Department called Aigul Shakibaeva. She explained that this was an arrest of an armed criminal, and then demanded to take the post down. The head of the press service warned that if Shakibaeva won't delete the post, she will be held accountable for disseminating false information during the state of emergency. She did not delete the post.
