Civil activist and blogger Aslan Satugdinov was detained right next to the location of a proposed unsanctioned protest in Uralsk. During the detention, the police tore the blogger’s coat, and one police officer headbutted him, busting his lip. Later, when Satugdinov had an aneurysm at the police station, he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
