The police department of the South Kazakhstan oblast turned to court with a request to defend their working reputation, demanding that blogger and freelance correspondent for the “Uralskaya Nedelya" (Uralsk Week) newspaper Aybolat Bukenov retract shared information. In a news report on the television channel “Channel One Eurasia” the blogger announced that he identified 92 cases of breaches of police procedure. Police representatives maintain that over the last two years the blogger has only submitted communications to the department five times, so there cannot be more than five breaches.
