Domozhirov was arrested for three days on charges of resistance to police (Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Law). He was also sentenced to two fines of 1,000 rubles each for violating the rules of self-isolation (Art. 20.6.1, part 1 of the Code). The journalist covered a protest of residents of the district Byvalovo against construction of a day care center on the grounds of a park. The first warrant for his arrest was issued April 24. On April 27, he was arrested, left overnight at the police station, and brought to court the next day in handcuffs.
