Nikolai Ugaslov, a “United Russia” representative in the parliament of Chuvashia, took Sidorov to court, demanding the retraction of a Facebook post and 100 thousand roubles of compensation for moral damage. Sidorov, on his person Facebook page and in the public Chuvashian section of the “United Russia” party, wrote of Ugaslov’s business dealings, accusing the representative of corruption and money laundering. The claim was considered on the 26th May. Roskomnadzor was announced as the third participant in proceedings. Earlier, Ugaslov had lobbied to open criminal proceedings.
