By the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, "Novaya Gazeta" deleted an article "Death from a coronavirus - a lesser evil” by Elena Milashina on the situation with coronavirus in Chechnya. Otherwise, the site of "Novaya Gazeta" would be blocked. Milashina's article was censored under a fake news law. After the article’s publication, Ramzan Kadyrov directly threatened the journalist and her colleagues with murder.
