The Georgain Charter of Journalistic Ethics issued a statement about an interview with Amiran Gamkrelidze and Paata Imnadze, leading figures in the country’s battle against COVID-19. The Charter stated that the main role of journalists is to ask critical questions. Earlier, journalists were the subject of insults and criticism from the public after questions posed during the interview on ‘Pirveli’ on March 28th, which was conducted by journalist Vakho (Vakhtang) Sanaia.
