On July 27, French University in Armenia Foundation filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against French citizen Leo Nikolyan (Bats TV LLC is involved in the case as a third party), demanding refutation of the information considered as libel and monetary compensation for the statements that infringe on business reputation. The reason for the suit was Leo Nikolyan’s interview on the air of Bats TV, which contained accusations of corruption addressed to the former French Ambassador to Armenia Ann Luo, as well as to the French University in Armenia. The lawsuit is being considered.
