The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg fined Alexander Romanenkov RUB 30,000 for «discrediting» the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The reason for the report is unknown. In May 2023, Romanenkov and several other Yekaterinburg-based journalists were denounced by the movement Call of the People. After that, Romanenkov was fined RUB 45,000 under the same administrative article.
