Journalists Andrzej Pisalnik and Inessa Todrik-Pisalnik, editors of the website of the unrecognised Union of Poles (ZnadNiemna.pl), were forced to leave Belarus due to the threat of arrest. They were also threatened with having their young son removed from the family. Pisalnik said that on 13 April he was summoned to the Grodno prosecutor’s office, he was told that his activities harmed the national interests of Belarus, and that he could be prosecuted for inciting national hatred, as well as “rehabilitating Nazism.”
