On 27 March, in Minsk, there were at least seven cases of journalists’ arrests recorded. TUT.BY editors Anna Kaltygina and Galina Ulasik were detained while eating lunch near Bangalore Square. People nearby were protesting the falsification of the presidential elections in 2020. The journalists were taken to the Zavodskoe district police department in a police van, where they were kept for about 5 hours. They were later released without charge.
