Ilya Dobrotvor was prosecuted once again, having been detained on 30 November, 2020, at a “Pensioners March” protest. On 2 December, the court found the journalist guilty of participating in an unauthorised protest and fined him. Almost two months later, he was accused under Article 23.4 of the Administrative Code, for allegedly disobeying the police during his arrest. Judge Victoria Shabunya, based on police evidence, found the journalist guilty and imposed another fine.
