The Moskovsky District Court of Minsk considered the criminal case against the former employee of the National State TV and Radio Company Volha Hladkaya. The ex-manager of the TV channel Belarus 2 was found guilty of organisation and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) and was sentenced to restriction of freedom without sending her to an open-type institution for 3 years — the so-called «home chemistry». The case was considered by judge Lidia Telitsa. Hladkaya resigned from the National State TV and Radio Company in September 2020 on the wave of nationwide protest and was detained on February 27, 2023.
