Journalist and media manager Andrei Alexandrov was found guilty under unknown criminal charges (due to an NDA signed by his lawyer). However, as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Gennady Kazakevich stated on 15 January, a case was brought against Alexandrov under Part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (“Conspiring to grossly violate public order”). More specifically, he is accused of financing unauthorised protests. Aleksandrov was detained on 12 January. A few days later, preventive measures were brought against him in the form of a further two months in prison.
