The Prosecutor’s Office of Bishkek initiates the liquidation of the public foundation Kloop Media, which is better known as the website Kloop.kg. The document states that Kloop.kg carries out work within the framework of the public foundation Kloop Media registered in 2006 with the Ministry of Justice, and the materials published on the website and in social networks are aimed at sharp criticism of the policy of the current government. «Moreover, most of the publications are of a negative nature aimed at discrediting representatives of state and municipal authorities. According to the conclusion of a forensic psychological and psychiatric examination, the publications contain hidden manipulation of public opinion, which is imposed negative processes that do not correspond to reality, and create opposition to any undertakings of the current government», — stated in the lawsuit. Consideration of the lawsuit begins on September 26.
