On September 19, during the mass protest action organised by the opposition in front of the building of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the police used stun grenades to disperse the demonstrators, as a result of which, along with several protesters, Anush Mkrtchyan, correspondent of the online media Hetq.am, was wounded. According to the medical report, the journalist received shrapnel wounds causing superficial burns.
