In St. Petersburg, the journalist of the project Chronicles Sergey Kagermazov was charged with dissemination of materials of an «undesirable» organisation (Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Kamargazov was prosecuted because of Meduza’s publications in the social network VKontakte. The last publication of Meduza on Kagermazov’s page was dated March 2, while Meduza was recognised as an «undesirable» organisation only in January 2023. The journalist was not informed that a report had been drawn up against him, so the court returned the case to the prosecutor’s office to correct the deficiencies.
