The Oktyabrsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don dismissed the case of «discrediting» the army against the editor-in-chief of the local media outlet 1rnd, Yelena Dorovskikh (Khokhonya). According to her, the report was drawn up against her as editor-in-chief, although the news item was written by another person and the statute of limitations for the «offence» had already expired. The reason for the report was the news about the anti-mobilisation leaflets that were posted outside the building of the local Center for Combating Extremism. 1rnd reported that the report on Dorovskikh was drawn up «just a day later» after she was awarded a non-state medal «For military-patriotic work». The media noted that «police officers were a bit discouraged» by the fact that Dorovskikh was awarded by their former boss, retired General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Shevchenko.
