Roskomnadzor demanded that the editors of the media outlet Mitin Zhurnal remove the books by writers Gerard Reve and Tony Duver from the website under threat of blocking. The agency referred to the fact that in these books «the main character expresses non-traditional sexual preferences». Dmitry Volchek, the editor-in-chief of Mitin Zhurnal, refused to comply with Roskomnadzor’s demand.
