The correspondent of the TV company Yerkir Media Ani Nahapetyan, who was covering the opposition protest action in the Republic Square in Yerevan, together with some demonstrators, was brought to the police station, where her phone was taken away from her and video footage taken in the building was erased. In addition, as with other protesters, a criminal case under the article «hooliganism» was opened against the journalist. Ani Nahapetyan was accused of «gravely insulting» the authorities through swear words, which she denied and, in turn, submitted to the police a report on the offence against her.
