In St. Petersburg, Federal Security Service officers told MR7 journalists who had filmed the search at the Trezini hotel owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin to delete the photos. Dmitriyeva was forced to unlock her phone under threat of a trip to the police station, after which an officer deleted the photos himself, including those showing Palace Square. The photographer Abramov confronted the officer when he entered the archway where the money seized during the search was kept. He convinced the law enforcer that he had no time to take any pictures.
