The law enforcers searched the editorial office of the website Nasha Niva. They seized equipment, digital drives and printed media. After that, the law enforcers searched the apartments of the newspaper’s managers. The searches were conducted under criminal articles for gross violation of order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code) and for «mass riots» (Article 293 of the Criminal Code). The law enforcers seized computer equipment from Yahor Martsinovich’s home. After that, he was taken for questioning, and then placed in a temporary detention center as a suspect under Article 342 of the Criminal Code. After the detention, Martsinovich was severely beaten. In the Investigative Committee, where the interrogation took place, he was called an ambulance, he had a head injury.
