Additional information:

Nasha Niva editor-in-chief Yahor Martsinovich and photographer Nadzeya Buzhan were detained in the afternoon near Bangalore Square (people were «walking» in the streets to protest against the rigged presidential election in 2020). Their car was stopped by traffic policemen, after which the officers took the journalists to the paddy wagon and drove them to the police department. Nadzeya Buzhan was released in the evening without a report. Yahor Martsinovich was released a few hours later, and two administrative reports were drawn up against him: for participation in an unauthorized street action and for disobedience to police demands. The law enforcers also seized the journalist’s mobile phone.
