On July 7, 2023, the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol completed consideration of the report on administrative offence against human rights defender and online activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov, who was accused of discrediting the Russian army. Abdureshit Dzhepparov stated that he had nothing to do with the publication and the report was drawn up without him. The court found him guilty and fined him RUB 45,000.
