After the de-occupation of the settlement, it became known that the Russian occupants had printed a clone of a well-known local newspaper to spread Russian propaganda. The Russians used the style, font and name of the Mykolaiv-based regional newspaper, translating it into Russian — «Rodnoe Pribuzhye».
