On May 24, 2023, the editor in-chief of the online publication “Mtis Ambebi” - Gela Mtivlishvili released an audio recording in which an unidentified men insists removal of a journalistic investigation into “Georgian Manganese” from the “Mtis Ambebi” website, threatening to kill Mtivlishvili if he doesn’t.
