Online activist Burkutbai Nasyrkhanov was fined by the administrative court for non-execution of a court sentence. According to the administrative ruling, Nasyrkhanov, having published an appeal to the President of the country on Facebook on February 21, violated the prohibitions imposed by the sentence of 21.07.2021. By the verdict under Part 2 of Article 405 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nasyrkhanov was sentenced to one year of restricted freedom with the establishment of probation control, deprivation of the right to engage in public and political activities for three years: including making publications, reports, various videos on socio-economic, socio-political topics, and others. The civil activist was fined KZT 10,721 for non-execution of the court sentence.
