In St. Petersburg, law enforcement officers detained Novaya Gazeta journalists Yelena Lukyanova and Alexey Dushutin, who gave a ride to a local artist Yelena Osipova to Nevsky Prospect, where she stood with an individual pacifist picket. In the evening, the journalists were released from the police station. Dushutin was not charged, Lukyanova was charged with a violation of anti-COVID rules (Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
