The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus has declared the weekly newspaper Chestnaya Gazeta with news about protests and the situation in Belarus and its Internet resources an «extremist formation». The law enforcers also warned that «persons who carry out any transfer of information to the representatives of the group are recognized as participants of an extremist formation and will be prosecuted under Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus» (up to seven years of imprisonment).
