On May 17, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Ukrainian TV host Maria Yefrosinina in absentia, who cooperates with Novy Kanal, on a case of spreading military «fakes» for hate motives (Paragraph E of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Yefrosinina is being prosecuted for publications on Instagram. The case against her was initiated on April 7, 2022 — initially under the first part of the «fakes» article. On July 1, she was placed on an international wanted list.
