The Investigative Committee initiated a case on justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against DOXA journalist Maria Menshikova. The reason for the case was a post in the media’s Vkontakte community dedicated to the arsons of military registration and enlistment offices in Russia. The post called to write to the media outlet about «detained partisans» and the post contained a picture of a man throwing a Molotov cocktail at the military registration and enlistment office. Menshikova is currently in Germany.
