On May 30, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Nagorno-Karabakh Hayk Khanumyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the daily newspaper Hraparak, demanding refutation of what was considered defamatory information and payment of compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the articles published in the newspaper saying that Khanumyan is involved in a number of criminal cases of corruption and abuse of office, and the Armenian authorities support him and do everything to prevent the minister from being brought to justice. The lawsuit is being considered.
