The editorial board of the regional information and advertising weekly newspaper Nedelya SK apologised to its readers for republishing an interview with a Russian military officer, entitled «No Blitzkrieg was intended» (Nedelya SK, 31.03.2022). The apology followed a letter to the editorial office from the regional Akimat, which conveyed to the media owner the need to adhere to the neutral position expressed by the official leadership of Kazakhstan with regard to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
