Alexey Shcherbenko, a representative of the New People party, decided to take legal action over the publication of the website Gorodskoy «Two opposition candidates gently ’licked’ the governor of the Bryansk region». A representative of the party suggested that the website remove the article, and correspondence ensued. It did not satisfy Alexey Shcherbenko, so he decided to go to court.
