On April 3, the Deputy Head of the Shirak Regional Investigative Department Hovhannes Pogosyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against 168 Zham LLC and journalist Goar Savzyan with demands to refute the information considered libel and to pay compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article about the plaintiff «Unfit Prosecutor is The Deputy Head of the Regional Investigative Department», published on March 7 on the website 168.am of the above-mentioned LLC. Referring to its sources, the website noted that Hovhannes Pogosyan was promoted to the new position by the fact that he used to be the colleague of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan. The lawsuit is being considered.
