On March 9, Sergey Mirolyubov, the director of Tvoy Shans LLP (publisher of the weekly newspaper Nasha Gazeta), received a pre-trial complaint from the acting chief doctor of the Kostanay city hospital. The claim concerns an article by correspondent Andrey Skiba «Doctors were celebrating! — Claims of patients of the Kostanay city hospital were commented on in health department», published on the website of the newspaper on March 7. The chief doctor demanded an immediate retraction of the information published in the article, or a proof. In response to the claim, the editor-in-chief of Nasha Gazeta said that the article contained official information and information from the primary source. The editorial board offered to post an excerpt from the pre-trial complaint as a comment under the disputed publication on the website.
