On May 24, at an open trial on the insult case, the judge of the Uralsk City Court Rosa Sariyeva banned journalists from taking photos, videos, and audio recordings of the trial. In response to the journalists' objections that the judge cannot prohibit audio recording because the process is open, the judge pretended that she did not hear the journalists' arguments and repeated that audio recording was prohibited, reports Uralskaya Nedelya.
