On July 5, the film crew of the regional TV channel TV Monitoringi (correspondent Shotiko Sadagashvili and cameraman Tornike Gelitashvili) was attacked by three unknown supporters of the pro-Russian Alt-Info party in Kareli, Shida Kartli region. The people insulted the journalists, tried to snatch the camera from the cameraman’s hands, hit the correspondent several times, and snatched the microphone from him.
