At the demand of the Ministry of Information, the social network VKontakte has blocked the page of the online media Zerkalo on the territory of Belarus. «Due to the distribution of information prohibited for distribution in accordance with Subparagraph 1.3 of Paragraph 1 of Article 38 of the Law "On Mass Media"», — reads the message from the technical support of the social network. This subparagraph refers to information «aimed at propaganda of war, extremist activities or containing calls for such activities, pornography, violence, and cruelty, including propaganda or incitement to suicide, other information the dissemination of which is likely to harm the national interests of Belarus».
