The cameraman of Khabar 24 Askhat Karakoyshiyev was attacked by employees of a petrol station when he was filming a video for a story on the illegal export of diesel fuel across the border. At the petrol station, the film crew was filming the illegal spillage of «diesel». «When the security guards saw the camera, they instantly attacked the operator», — says the story titled «Where is Kazakhstan’s diesel fuel flowing?». The journalist managed to film the moment of the attack on his phone. The footage shows a petrol station security guard forcibly restraining the cameraman, with Askhat Karakoyshiyev later showing an injury to his neck. The footage was aired on the news.
