Satik Seyranyan, the editor-in-chief of the 168.am news website, reported that the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia Kristine Grigoryan is waging a targeted campaign against media outlets that criticize the authorities and spreading libelous and hateful information about them. In particular, on July 8, the Human Rights Defender accused on her Facebook page the media 168.am of publishing false information. However, it soon turned out that the post that became the basis for the mutual accusations was a republication, and the website duly made a link to the original source, which in its publication quoted unflattering words of a citizen about the activities of the Human Rights Defender.
