Svetlana Anokhina, editor-in-chief of the Dagestan-based portal Daptar, left Dagestan after the police refused to open a case for death threats to her. Anokhina said she was forced to take additional security measures. Police had earlier attributed the refusal to open a case on the death threats to the journalist to «insufficient grounds».
