The Arbitration Court of the Pskov Region upheld a lawsuit filed by Formosa-IT LLC against the activist Nikolay Kuzmin for the protection of the business reputation. The court found the phrase from Kuzmin’s post on VKontakte defamatory: the activist saw a direct link between the company’s intention to apply to arbitration for bankruptcy and its obligation to return RUB 13,000,000 to the Pskov budget for a disrupted tender for the supply of chairs to a music school. Kuzmin must remove this phrase from the publication, publish a refutation on his page and pay the court costs.
