Former Sota correspondent Vasily Vorona has been expelled from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas after being detained at a protest with an editorial assignment. To familiarise Vorona with the expulsion document, representatives of the university traveled from Moscow to Vyshny Volochyok, where Vorona was doing his university internship. The court’s decision to fine Vorona has not yet entered into force. The trial court ignored his press card and editorial assignment.
