In Kazan, Nailya Mullayeva, the correspondent of Sota, was visited by the Federal Security Service officers. They claim that she had been sending false bomb reports. Mullayeva’s apartment was searched, allegedly in connection with a «telephone terrorism» case (Mullayeva is a witness in the case, according to Sota). The Federal Security Service officers, according to Mullayeva, mixed up the apartment and searched the apartment of her neighbors first. As a result of the search, all of the journalist’s equipment was seized. The journalist was detained, questioned, and released from the police station.
